Today I recommend you visit the exhibition entitled "Design and Design - Italian Patent and creativity" Ara Pacis. I must say that is an interesting experience. You can see a series of drawings supplied by the first of the '900 patent office by Italian designers. Ferragamo shoes from the '30s (that look so impressive to those who are in fashion this year), objects of daily life, from cars to fashion. The exhibition provokes wonder and anger. The wonder and the pride of a people who had the genius and the desire to make a mark and a style envied around the world, the anger of a mind that actually discourages that way to do, to get their hands dirty, to dare. The exhibition is not large, and given the immense production of Italian design is blatantly incomplete, but I assure you is well worth devoting a couple of hours.
